MONTENIDOLI
The Etruscans were the first to discover this treasure and plant their vines, followed by the Romans and the Knights Templar; we arrived in 1965, to bow over the land and ask it questions: we're still discovering its riches today. It's a land ideally suited to vine and olive: It has been 41 years since we reawakened the old abandoned vines and the olives, which were overgrown with brambles. The vines that give "Sono Montenidoli" were bred using a mass selection in the vineyard: it is an autochthonous wine.
Over the years these nine wines have gained recognition and received important awards. Forget your past glories, and think of the present: three Goblets awarded in October 2006 by Gambero Rosso, and the comments in the Guide:
From Christian Lowe, Geisenheim's enologist: They are great wines, well suited to the finest tables and discerning palates. How to reach Montenidoli |
